Submission of Applications: Those who meet all the criteria are invited to apply until October 20th, 2021.
Screening Stage: All applications will be reviewed and a team of experts will select the most promising (50-100) applicants, selected applicants will be informed during November 2021.

Stage #1 – Opening Week in Abuja, December, 2021

Arrival of i-FAIR participants (successful applicants who received invitations)

Opening Event and interactive innovation conference – open to invited guests and for i-Fair participants, Includes Keynote lectures, innovation workshops, networking opportunities with key players from the innovation ecosystem, cultural events and more. 

Interactive innovation bootcamp for i-FAIR participants, includes innovation development training, practical workshops, interaction with mentors,  and more. 

During these 5 days, the participants will be also mentored on how to present their initial ideas, and will be assessed by the mentors, participants with viable ideas will be advanced to the next stage of the training.  

All participant’s Expenses associated with attending the opening week in Abuja will be taken care of by the i-FAIR programme.

Stage #2 – December 11th, 2021 – February 15th, 2022.
  • Idea and Market validation: During this stage, Participants will be implementing what they have learned in the opening week of Bootcamp and  will complete the market and idea validation

  • Online Training: “Entrepreneurship and Business development” Lectures, and workshops focused on entrepreneurship, creative thinking, ideation, design thinking, market assessment, business plan, SWOT analysis, presentation, elevator pitch, branding and differentiation strategy, investors recruitment, intellectual property protection and more

  • Product Development From an idea to POC -Workshops focused on product development – “From an idea to POC (proof of concept) and to an MVP (Minimum viable Product)”.

  • Mentorship Programme: participants will be mentored by experts from Israel and NIgeria. Our mentors include business development experts, experts with experience in the relevant fields, and technical experts who will support the technical development.

  • At the end of this stage , our mentors will assess the participant’s progress and the potential of their ideas, ideas which will be assessed as viable, with a valid value proposition and market validation, will be advanced to the prototype development and business development stage.
Stage #3 – February 15th – May 31st 2022
Practical Prototype/MVP development
Practical Business development

Participants whose ideas were advanced to this second stage of the training, will be offered an opportunity to develop their prototypes, During this stage they will be invited to an intensive week/2 weeks long (TBD) prototype development workshop, at the innov8 innovation center- equipped with high end technology which will enable them to turn ideas into prototypes. During this workshop they will be mentored by technical experts from Israel and Nigeria who will support their prototype development process. .After this week, the Center will be accessible to them for the development of their prototypes until May 31st, 2022. In addition, they will be mentored by experts on the business development of their ideas and will have opportunities to engage with potential investors and relevant stakeholders
Stage #4: 6th-9th June 2022.
Closing Week

  • 6th-7th: Getting ready for Demo Day
  • 8th-9th: A Grand Finale Demo day and Exhibition participants will present their innovative projects to potential investors from all over the world.
  • Graduates will be awarded an “I-Fair fellowship” certificate
